Symbio has been awarded a contract with the French DTI to redesign the visual control room at Saint-Denis airport on Réunion Island, on behalf of the SNA/OI, the control tower operator.

The entire project will be carried out using our SymLab VR software, dedicated to the design and editing of workspaces and workstations in virtual reality. After an in-depth study of the tasks, the layout of the equipment on the workstation will be optimized, using our virtual mannequins adapted to the target user population, and the ergonomic validation tools incorporated into SymLab. Symbio will also adapt the workstation to allow the integration of the equipment in the optimal pre-determined layout. Plans and 3D models of the new visual control room, workstation and equipment layout will then be submitted to DTI for implementation.
