The French Civil Aviation has contracted Symbio to further the design of the South Traffic visual control room at the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport.

The South Traffic visual control room had already been designed by Symbio in 2019. The missions and specifications of the room have been enhanced and the design of the room now has to be updated.
Symbio will work with the DTI and SNA/RP in  SymLab VR to:

  • Revise the organization of equipment on the six working positions in the visual control room
  • Explore new room layout options, through the modeling and evaluation in VR of 4 options
  • Design a new workstation for one or two controllers, including the positioning of equipment, if mandated by the future room layout
  • Adequately position several additional displays needed for the new missions assigned to the room
