Symbio will be redesigning the South Traffic visual control room at the Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport.

Thanks to our new VR SymLab design environment, we will optimize the positioning of the equipment on 6 consoles, and design the consoles for supporting and integrating them. The position of the consoles in the visual control room will also be optimized in SymLab for perfect vision outside the visual control room. SymLab will then be used to design the layout of the room, including other furniture and equipment. Colours and materials for all visible surfaces in the room will be selected and experienced in virtual reality. Symbio will manufacture and deliver a console prototype to Charles De Gaulle Airport for further experimentation and validation of the designs. Finally, we will issue the full specifications, 3D models and plans, for the manufacture of the console by the client.
