Symbio has been requested by the University of Liège (ULg) to study and design the control room for the University's "Alarm center".

This room manages the overall pool of alarms for the different ULg sites.

Symbio will be in charge of the design of the consoles and furniture, of the room layout, the positioning of the equipment on the  consoles, as well as the recommendations for general lighting, natural lighting and HVAC as well as the finishings.

About the University of Liège

The Ulg was founded in 1817 by the King of the Netherlands, William I of Orange, and is the culmination of a long intellectual tradition that goes back to the origins of the Principality of Liège.

The founders and associates of Symbio give a yearly lecture on the ergonomics of control rooms at the ULg, in the framework of a Human Factors course.
