Symbio contributes to the development of the HoliDes European project, to be submitted in the Artemis framework on September 6, 2012.

HoliDes (Holistic Human Factors and System Design of Adaptive Cooperative Human-Machine Systems) continues the effort started with D3CoS on the design of cooperative human-machine systems. Symbio played a very significant role in developing D3CoS, a project on the Design of Dynamic Distributed Cooperative Human-Machine Systems, which makes their involvement in developing HoliDes very natural.

In HoliDes, the focus is on the development of Adaptive Cooperative Human-Machine Systems (AdCoS), including adaptive automation, and on their certification, through the use of methods, techniques and tools (MTTs) provided through a Human Factors Reference Technology Platform (HF-RTP). Holides will integrate 31 European project partners (companies, institutes, research centers,...) in 7 countries. The total budget of the project is 23.28 M€.
