The consortium composed of Symbio, OFFIS, Terma and Astrium (EADS) get a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Symbio has responded in late September 2012 with OFFIS, Terma and Astrium (EADS) to a tender launched by ESA on the study of a  design of innovative collaborative work environment for satellite monitoring & control, problem analysis, design & planning activities  and support for critical operation phases.

The Terma-Astrium-OFFIS-Symbio consortium has just been notified they have been  selected to perform the study, for a duration of 1.5 years. The project will start in March 2012 and will end in September 2013.  Symbio will be subcontracted to TERMA in the framework of this project.

Symbio will be in charge of or involved in:

  • definition of methodologies for situation modeling
  • modeling of situations
  • console design
  • console prototype manufacture and installation
  • design of the user Interface for collaborative environment
