Symbio is sub-contracted by the Airbus Group to participate to the HoliDes European project.

Symbio significantly contributed to the design of the HoliDes European project between March and September 2012 and is now subcontracted by the Airbus Group for 3 years, to work in the project on the modeling and design of architectures for Adaptive  Cooperative Human-Machine Systems. Symbio therefore continues the work already initiated on similar topics on the D3CoS,  CASCADe, A-PiMod European projects; the AERG and VASCO projects for the European Space Agency (ESA); and for Airbus a few  years ago.

About HoliDes

HoliDes (Holistic Human Factors and System Design of Adaptive Cooperative Human-Machine Systems) continues the effort started with D3CoS on the design of cooperative human-machine systems. In HoliDes, the focus is on the development of Adaptive Cooperative Human-Machine Systems (AdCoS), including adaptive automation, and on their certification, through the use of methods, techniques and tools (MTTs) provided through a Human Factors Reference Technology Platform (HF-RTP). Holides integrate 31 European project partners (companies, institutes, research centers,...) in 7 countries. The total budget of the project is 23.28 M€.
