Symbio will develop the Zero Waste Dispenser unit in close relation with Quentin Verstappen, founder and chief of operations.
This will be the first bulk food dispenser entirely made of stainless steel and glass, a fully sustainable solution for zero waste shops. After extensive prototyping and testing, the unit will be manufactured in large quantities by Symbio.

Zero Waste Dispenser is the first bulk dispenser, designed in stainless steel and glass, and made in Belgium.
The idea behind Zero Waste Dispenser was born in 2014, when Quentin Verstappen, a Brussels entrepreneur, created his first organic and bulk store Almata. “Faced with the lack of sustainable plastic free solutions, I had to meet my own needs and requirements with the help of an industrial design office. And so I became my own first client.”
